Self-proclaimed “geek” and lover of computers Dusty Reagan wrote in tonight to tell me about a domain research tool that he is developing that will allow you to search for domains while keeping your searches from prying eyes.

I might be being slightly paranoid but I actually do my domain name searches with one company, and register with another. Potentially anyone can make an interface that can test the availability of a domain, the question is… are they recording your attempts?
